Federal Upheaval...Local Consequences
Congress and the President are considering some of the most substantial changes in federal support for affordable housing in decades - massive cuts to CDBG, HOME and other HUD programs, as well as tax reform that could fundamentally change the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. SOAH 2017, held in partnership with the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance, will provide an update on where these potential changes stand, which are most likely to be implemented, and what impact they may have locally.
